Enjoy the magic of indigo dye* with artist Laurel Coxon and learn traditional resist techniques to produce beautiful designs onto cloth.

Morning: make an indigo dye vat and prepare materials using shibori techniques.

Afternoon: learn other resist techniques and how to dye your fabric.

*Indigo is a natural dye extracted from the leaves of plants that come from the genus Indigofera. It is the oldest known fabric dye and was first discovered 6,000 years ago in Peru.
